    |Hi

I have completed a project and converted it to web using quicktime compressor and it worked and all was dandy. I now have a request to convert that same piece to appear 16:9 for web but without the black bars running accross the top and bottom of the footage… does this make sense to anyone? can I do this in quicktime?

    many thanks

You can crop out the letterbox in the Geometry Pane in Compressor.

Source inset/Crop To/Letterbox Area of Source.
