I usually import all my still-images as jpeg, RGB 1998, baseline.

I am working on a HDV sequence (1920x1080i).

It looks okay, but the is this the right format to be workning in a HDV workflow – maybe I should import progressive instead of baseline?

So I guess just a quick clear-up from a clever mind, can answer my question.

baseline/progressive is how jpegs get loaded on web pages.

baseline = image loads after it fully downloads

progressive = image loads looking pixellated then clears up after it fully downloads.

it should have no bearing at all in fcp which you choose, but I usually do baseline
    to keep it simple.
