  Codec not found (??????)

  Upon rendering in a seq, which is NTSC 720×486 ProREs (HQ)

  I receive the error

  :Codec not found. You may be using a compression type without corresponding hardware card.:

  Using Kona LH / 8 core.

  One work around that I have done is to export the clip as ProRES (HQ) the bring it back in. But you can understand what a hassles that will be.

  Most clips in show have already been converted so that is a non issue.

  But how can it not see a codec that is already there when I want to render something?
