  • exporting tiff sequence without background

I am just finishing up titles for a short feature. the first three shots of the film have been scanned to have titles added to them. I made the titles in Live type and want to export them as tiff sequence. I have done this before without trouble.
This time however i want the tiffs to be without black background, so it will be easier for the animation people to put them onto the scanned images.

How do i get the image sequence to export without black background????

You have to export using QuickTime Conversion, unless you set you sequence to Animation+. Either way will give you a transparent background.

    Have a wonderful day.

    Hi Maite,
As long as I know LiveType do not directly export Still sequences. You need to export a QT movie (Animation), then convert it to TIFF or any other format.
You will get an Animation with Alpha channel when on exporting you uncheck “Render Background”.
To keep the transparency in the still sequence, you need to export setting in your TIFF options “Millions of Colors+”
