  Final Cut capturing issues

  Greetings, I am new to FCP6. I am trying to capture an 85 minute HD DVC tape from my Sony HC9 miniDV HD camera. I am able to get everything going and to start the log and capture. It captures about 15-20 minutes and then stops creating files/clips. It still shows that it is capturing, but it is only running the camera footage through the capturing viewer on FCP6. Any ideas what is causing this and what I can do to fix it? Thanks in advance.

  the tapes are 63 minutes. so did you have it in LP? I have had issues with mini dv in lp mode
