When I try to cancel a job in the Batch Monitor, it just goes on “Cancelling…” forever, hour after hour. This makes it difficult to start other batches. Why can´t this stupid programme do as I tell it?

Select the item you want. Then click stop. Let it stop and then click delete.

If you are following the above method and still have issues try trashing your Compressor preferences.

Or the quickest way to do it is to reset background processing. Make sure batch monitor is close then go to compressor pull down menu and select reset background processing and click ok. Quit compressor and relaunch the app. 99% fix the problem.

    Thanks for the tip, Lot.

    It seems to work now.

BTW, I had problems with DVD Studio Pro, where formatting failed without any reason. That one was solved by restarting the computer. I didn´t think that was supposed to be needed in OS X …
