  Help please, re-capturing.

  Hi,

  If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

  I’ve been given a 20 second sequence made up of 2/3 second clips to re-capture from DigiBeta tapes. It was originally taken in at Offline resolution, I now have to capture the clips at Online resolution.

  My problem is that when I highlight one of the clips and try to capture it, Final Cut attempts to capture the entire master clip, as opposed to the couple of seconds needed.

  I’ve tried setting the clips as independent, but the problem remains. Is there an easy way around this???

  I think that if you use the Media Manager you will only need to capture the length of the clps with the handles you decide.
