Image sequencing!
I rendered an animation in Lightwave 3d. Each frame was a png file. I then imported the files into QuicktimePro as an image sequence. I have 120 frames, therefore 120 files. They are 1500 x 750 each.
1) Quicktime Pro would not let me sequence all the files for some reason, therefore I imported them in sections, and therefore when I loaded them into Final Cut Express, they had to be 3 Quicktime files as opposed to one.
2) When I play the movie in Final Cut it appears to go black for maybe one frame between these three Quicktime files.How do I get a smooth flow between the three files?

You can import as stills. Set “1 frame” the Stills duration in your Preferences. Import the folder with the still and drag all of them to a new sequence. You can use this sequence just as a clip and drag it to any other sequence.
Don’t forget to rise the “Still Cache” in the Preferences too.

Where do I set the frame duration in my preferences? Are you talking about Final Cut Express preferences? I looked there, I don’t see where I can set the frame duration.
