  scrubbing doesn’t work in external monitor (when in viewer)

  when i scrub through a sequence, external video (via kona lhe card) displays (and scrubs) fine.

  when i scrub through a clip in the viewer, it functions correctly in the cinema display, but the external video freezes on the initial frame and then jumps to whatever frame i’m at when i stop scrubbing. although, if i scrub veeeerrry slooowly it will work.

  any advice or settings i can tweak to be able to scrub through the clips and view it on the external monitor? maybe the system isn’t quite powerful enough?

  with 23″ hd cinema display
  20″ JVC DTV HD monitor
  Kona LHE

  storage: 4Bay MacGurus Burly w/ 4X 1TB Seagate Barracuda SATA drives (7200rpm)
  connected via eSATA (Lycom 4 Port PCIe SATAII Host Card)

  footage: p2, 720/24pn (DVCPro 720p 59.94) loaded into FCP via Raylight
