Hope this isnt too general a description but what are some ideas for making somebody’s voice sound like the voice of doom or death in Final Cut Pro? A deep scary voice affect…

A very simple trick is to put two copies of the same voice track on the timeline and slide one copy progressively farther down the timeline, two frames, then three, etc. until the right degree of echo is achieved. Its helps to have a narrator with deep voice to begin with too.

One of the very many pitch shift filters will get you the deep scary part, plus a small bit of reverb to enhance.
