    Hello All,

I am trying to export a clip from FCP to After Effects. I’ve selected the clip in FCP timeline, then export that clip. When I go to import it into AE, only part of the clip is imported. I’ve tried taking the clip out of my FCP timeline and onto it’s own video track then import it into AE with no luck. I’ve tried taking the clip and add it into a new bin- no luck. The funny thing is that for some reason, I am able to import the entire sequence into AE.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

    Jason

    Hi Jason,
Which codecs are you working with?

    Rafael,

I believe my codec is DV NTSC 48 kHz, should I change it?

    Is very strange.
I have asked you for the codec because I know that AE is having some problems with working with HDV and EX-1 files. DV is working well since years.
Are you exporting the clip as Self-Contained?
    Plays well in QT?
