    came up this week

how would you apply an audio transition to all clips in a specific track as you cannot select more than one edit point at a time

I know the trick with visual transitions where you can drag the visuals to the browser to rededit back in with overwrite and transition, useful for stills.

my suggestion was use track auto select to only audio track needed, turn off linking, use select edit (v) and then the shortcut for add default audio transition. then use up down arrows to progress between clips and apply again

alternative I suppose would be go to soundtrack pro and get dragging, quick though and more responsive

    Hi Ben,

Use T to select the audio track you want, place your play head and your audio destination (A1) to the same track. Grab your clips in the timeline and drag them into your canvas and over to “overwrite with transition”.
You can also do this with a part of a track.
Your default transition is being used so if you want another transition – make the transition the way you want it. Drag it into the Browser and set it do be your default transition.

    Best regards
    Andreas

    thought it was only visuals

    ah well

    thats good

    thanks andreas

suppose it is good to check clips have proper handles before doing this type of action though and maybe even do it on a duplicate sequence
