Setting focus to viewer window using keyboard
I’ve been using jkl scrubbing of clips in the viewer and then F9 to insert once my in and out points are set. Trouble is that once I hit F9 focus is changed to the timeline and when I try to use jkl scrubbing again I get the mac “you did something bad” buzz. I then have to re-click on the viewer window. It’s really not a hug issue but it would be great if I could use a keyboard shortcut to return focus to the viewer windows so as to avoid this extra mouse click every time I’ve insert a new clip.

The Q key should do this for you. 🙂

CMD 4 to select the Browser. Up down arrows to go through clips. Enter to load into the Viewer. Mark I/O. F9 or F10. Q or CMD 1. Repeat.
Now you’re editing w/o the mouse. Tight!
