  Spliting Scenes Upon Capture

  I have noticed that when I capture HDV Final Cut automatically splits the clips up when camera buttons off.. (very handy) This doesn’t happen with SD footage. But….

  Can it??

  Are there anyways to do this during or after capture or do i have to manually Batch capture..

  Am new to all this, any advice much appreciated..

  With DV you can. It’s called DV Start/Stop detection.
