Error in FCP
I am trying to output a sequence in Final Cut. I am outputing as a quicktime file with no compression and it gets halfway through the output and says Error: File too large

Shane’s Stock Answer #3: How to output lossless Quicktime movies
To export your project so there is no loss in quality, simply go to the File Menu and select EXPORT>QUICKTIME MOVIE. Not Quicktime Conversion, for this will compress the footage. Make sure the settings match your timeline settings, make it self contained, do NOT recompress the footage, and you are set.

Also make sure the drive you are going to is mac formatted or you’ll hit a 2GB file limit

Actually, it’ll just make series of smaller files in the Capture scratch folder that are white and have no icons, but the 2GB file limit won’t stop you from capturing a larger file. I inadvertently did that last week when a friend asked me to capture some footage for them to a firewire drive that they dropped off. After capture, I discovered all those small files and realized it was a PC formatted drive…

That means you don’t have enough space on the target drive. You’ll need to remove some files to open up space & export again.
