I was working on an HD project with a picture locked sequence to color correct. I used Color and had no issues till after rendering was complete. Now as I understand it if you have a speed adjusted clip you are to make a QT of it and then bring it back into your FCP project, but I lost considerable quality when I made a QT with same as sequence settings, so I just took out any motion parameters and reapplied them after sending the sequence back from color. However, I found that after I pasted the motion attributes back in to match the speed of the picture locked sequence that it was not frame accurate in fact some were off by a minute or less. I had to type in an exact time instead of the speed I wanted which caused the speed to vary clip by clip. I was wondering why this happened? If the editor had a different upgrade of FCP 6 than I do would that have caused that? I mean would his computer have processed the motion attributes differently somehow?

If you did this correctly that should not happen.
    Explain how you did this.
