    Hi all,

    I have a problem with a simple scene. =\

Its a quicktime in 1013×600 (customer need this size), length is 10 sec, and its saved in QT animationcodec.

I add some fx and tried to render via renderqueue back in a QT movie.

It starts and after 8 secs of rendering it fails.. ram full or something.

The system has 2gig of ram, and I told Ae to use 100% of memory.. any ideas how to get the file out of ae ?

    many thanks

    Ulf

If you hold down the shift key when accessing the prefs (don’t release it until you see the last prefs dialog) you can access the Secret prefs. Set it to purge 10 or 15 frames during Make Movie.

On your next render, monitor your RAM usage, and if it crashes, lower the purge value.
