    Hi All,

FCS2 running in an G5 2ghz DP, latest OS/QT and all updates. PAL land. Running fine, but I’ve noticed some odd behaviour whilst cutting a native HDV project.

When CCing footage (nothing heavy, just colour balance and bringing down the luminance if it’s overcooked) as soon as I move the whites slider more than 2 clicks, my histogram goes almost flat… from having a well-represented image (with admittedly blown-out highlights it suddenly goes almost completely flat. The picture changes as one would expect, i.e. subtly. The CCd clip also becomes unrendered – red bar as opposed to the green I’d normally expect. Is this a bug, or am I being a numpty?

    Jason

OK update time… just figured that the CC effect only goes red (unrendered) whilst the scopes are open. Odd behaviour considering they’re supposed to be realtime scopes…close the scopes window and presto! green bar again.

    Another feature, I guess!
