June 25, 2007 at 8:51 pmUpdate to 5.0.4… as a side note, it’s full of bug fixes.
What flavor of MPEG are you needing to create? For a DVD burn or?

June 25, 2007 at 9:14 pmCompressor 3 will make a transport stream… which is what you’re talking about. I can’t remember if 2 does or not, but search the online manual for it on the word “Transport”. If it does it, you’ll see the procedure.
There is multiplexing software out there to do this, but I figure we should see what you can do for free first, eh?

Jerry do you mean a multiplexed (1 file with video+audio) mpeg file?
Transport Streams are typically HD and Program Streams are typically SD.
That would sure be nice if compressor 3 actually had the ability to build a muxed file instead of separate streams.

It does.
