  • Merging audio layers.

    Hi,

I am editing some snippets together in final cut, but some audio levels are low. Even having the levels up at 12db has left me with having to duplicate the audio levels. The problem I have is now, is when cropping the clips only the original audio tracks crops the duplicated audio layers have to be done separately. Is there a way of either combining the audio layers into 1. Or relink the audio files to be in sync with the video?

You can highlight all the items and nest them, creating a single clip essentially.

You can also select the layers, and force a link (in the modify menu)…. cmd+L is the keyboard shortcut.
