  Canvas does not update change in filter??

  Hello

  I noticed an annoying bug in FCP.

  I capture DV, rough cut on a G4 tower. Working everything on a Firewire drive in cluding render disk. Then I switch to a Macbook for CPU intensive task such as fixing gamma. I connect MacBook to the same Firewire drive. I double click on the clip I applied level filter previously, and tried to tweak the gamma level in the effect tab. However, at this point, i noticed that Canvas is no longer reflecting the change I do in the sequence at all. I suspected it was just some sort of display issue, so I saved, quit FCP. Come back to the same file, and the change I made to the clip is gone?? I ended up putting the same clip in from the bin, applying effect in MacBook to make this work. Is this a known bug???
