I don’t understand what you want to do.
You don’t generally put DV on a DVD for replication.
You can put “raw” DV footage on a DVD-R (or DVD+R) ffor storage.
You can only put 4.7 GB on a single-layer DVD.
That is only about 20 minutes of raw DV footage.
Or you can “burn” a standard DVD (that will play on a standard DVD player) from DV footage.
You can record anywhere from 1 to 4 hours of “compressed” footage on a single layer DVD (the less the length, the less compression will be needed, and the quality will be better.)
Please post back with much more info as to what you are trying to accomplish.
