Activity Forums Adobe After Effects flash code to after effects?

    No idea what the code actually states (don’t use Flash), but al lI see some pseudo-randomly appearing text fregments, arranged to look like a Fractal Noise pattern. This could all be done manually and it wouldn’t even take long. If you want the text randomly chosen, look in the presets that come with AE. There is some example rigged with expressions. I suspect they are somehow sampling the fractal pattern (which most likely is an imported graphic) on a per-pixel basis to drive the positions and placement, but since

    a) AE does not support this functionality natively
    b) Third-party plugins like the color sampler in Digital Anarchy’s Toolbox use baked keyframes
    c) AE does not support direct access to text layers in a way that would allow you to derive the bounding box size and alignment of the layers

    I would consider it a moot point to even think about it. so all in all, manual is the way to go.
