  URGENT: Blocks of pixels missing

  Hi,

  We just purchased a Xsan and 4 fcp stations, we are experiencing missing blocks of pixels when trying to render a sequence from the SAN. The problem is not happening when we render from the local disk. Could this be a bandwith issue? Should we have a specific folder structure on the SAN, is this a setting problem?? Please help. Thanks

  Hi Martin

  I’m guessing you’re running Xsan 1.3. It was a bad release, causing all sorts of render problems, strangely the render problems only seem to affect FCp and photoshop. Xsan 1.4 seems to have solved the problems.
