SorensonHD XCEL: Another Blue ICE?
Pardon my lack of enthusiasm about this recent announcement of a $12K card for accelerating MPEG2 encoding.
Looks cool, but so did Blue Ice.

How dare you mock them? This is indeed a paradigm shift allowing for multiple synergies across integrated product lines!!!

If only they had expended the energy used creating that announcement on making Squeeze 4.x run on an Intel machine…
