  J30 digibeta deck not seen by FCP

  Hey, guys.

  I just had a client call and tell me his J30 digibeta deck is not being recognized by FCP. all of his other decks work fine. Any input?

  I happen to be using a J30 today. When I turned it on, it was in 625 PAL mode. Had to change it to 525. Could that be the problem? Otherwise, I have had no problems. It’s a good little deck.

  Hi
  I’ve had this when I’ve tried to use the J-30 FW at the same time as having three FW400 drives daisy-chained to the other FW port on a G4MDD.
  As soon as I disconnected the third FW drive everything worked again…
  It was a generic FW drive-case with a Prolific bridge board, which must have caused an identity clash on the FW bus with the J-30.
