  best way to simulate 24p?

  I am shooting a documentary and I am using a DSR500ws DVCAM camera. It is a native widescreen cam that shoots 29.97 fps. What is the best way to simulate 24p in post?
  I use FCP5, Motion and After Effects 6.5.

  I may be willing to purchase a 3rd party prog/plugin if necessary…I just want it to look as much like film as possible without the high cost of shooting film or renting a 24p camera.

  Good quality filters, great price and works right in FCP.
