After Effects and Open GL – 3D plugin
I recently installed After Effects 7.0 professional on my windows PC. My graphics card is a Matrox Parhelia and seems to conflict with the Open GL-3D. I had to remove this Open GL-3D plugin for After Effects to open. How important is this plugin to the operation of AE. I am just learning how to use 3-D motion control with the instruction of Mr. Richard Harrington’s DVD series that explains the 3-D motion control technique that Rhed Pixel created. Will the lack of this Open GL-3D plugin affect employing this technique and rendering the results. I have another PC with an ATI all-in-wonder graphics card that may be more compatible. What should I do or consider. In advance, thanks for your assistance.
Sincerely Yours,
John
