• Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy

  File error: Unknown file

  Hi,

  I’ve just upgrade my osX to Tiger.
  To do so, I’ve been forced to empty the HD1, and reinstall everything again:
  -My Atto Raid.
  -My Cinewave.
  -FCP
  etc…

  When I log and capture, and capture is finished, I get an error message:
  File error: Unknown file

  When I do it through capture now, I get another message:
  ERROR: Final Cut Pro HD was unable to read the movie file just captured.

  I’ve tried the several tricks: to reinstall the codecs, to restart the computer, to empty the preferences…

  Now I am getting desperate: Any ideas?

  I’m having the EXACT same problem on the same setup. Hope somebody can help us.
