Mastering to tape now works fine (almost) – thanks.

One problem seems to puzzle me. There seems to be a delay to when
the assemble edit/insert edit begins recording – and it is always consistent
1 second and 9 frames. So if I set the program in point at 1:00:00:00 – it
    won’t actually record until 1:00:01:09.

Can’t figure this one out. At first, I thought it might be a drop frame/non drop
frame issue as I am working with both kinds of programs at the moment. But
they seem to be consistently 1 second and 9 frames off regardless.

Any ideas? The easy work around is to start the program at :00:59:58:21 but I would
like to get to the crux of the problem? Could it be a deck setting? A genlock setting?
It is not the leader as I have tried it with it both on and off.

    Thanks!

    Jack

What release and CPU do you have? That sounds like a problem reported against 11.6 on MacPro systems. I think it’s fixed in 11.6.4.

    MacPro
    2×3 Ghz
    8-core
    4 gigs Ram
    version 10.4.9

    Using Media 100HDe 11.6.2

I’ll go ahead and update to 11.6.4 – actually might as well go up to 12.

Thanks, hopefully that will do it.
