Trying to acquire this HDV footage going through a miranda box… i have a flying cow with AES out going to channels 1&2 on the HDX junction box and aes coming out of the miranda box directly to channels 3&4 on the HDX box. When i go to audio input and select channels in 3&4 and go to acquire, i can see the levels coming in on media100’s meters, but there is no signal going to my flying cow for audio monitoring… is this a limitation of media100 hd? i thought it simultaneously sends audio out to all channels. Anyone else experience this?

It is a limitation, or a feature, as you like 😉

Due to a hardware design you get while acquiring only the sound on the channels you use as an input. If you acquire on 3/4 you get the out on 3/4 during acquire. On 1/2 you will get the signal you send in on 1/2, even if you acquire 3/4. So don
