  PP fetching disk in advance

  While working with footage in multiple hard drives, during playing a sequence if the footage is coming from the same disk, PP does play every new clip almost instantly.

  However, I have often noticed that during playback, when the play-head comes across a new clip that is situated in another drive, the playback stutters.

  I know this is an OS/ Hardware problem that drives often go to sleep. My question is can PP fetch disk in advance so that a drive gets enough time to wake up?
