I’m curious to see if there is anybody that has done much shooting on an iPhone XS Max, and what their experience is, good and bad.

Also, is there a different cell phone that shoots better footage?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated…

    thanks

Any reason you are specifically looking to shoot on a cel phone opposed to an actual camera?

I like the size and flexibility… the unobtrusive nature for guerilla-style shoots. BTW, I went to your site… it said internal server error…

Yeah, I haven’t updated my blog in a long long long time. It’s in transition.

Filmic Pro is very popular, yet dirt cheap.

Yes, the provided iPhone app will shoot variable frame ate video. To avoid sadness in post, do not use that.

    System:
    Dell Precision T7600 (x2)
    Win 7 64-bit
    32GB RAM
Adobe CC 2017.1 (as of 8/2017)
    256GB SSD system drive
4 internal media drives RAID 5
Typically cutting short form from UHD MP4, HD MP4, and HD P2 MXF.
