I’ve created a CEA-708/Service 1 caption and I’ve been copy/pasting from a script. No problems, until a certain point in the timeline. I need to stop the captions because there is text on screen for 18 seconds.
But when I put the next caption on the line after the gap, I paste the text but there’s nothing on the timeline. Basically, that caption will only show about 10 seconds then it just disappears, even when the bar is dragged to a longer time.
The only way to bypass it is create 2 new captions with just a “-” in it the span of the gap, then pick it back up after. It’s like it can’t handle just nothing.
I even created a brand new caption file and it does the same thing! It’s like it reaches a certain point in the timeline and just nopes the F out.

    Super bizarre
