  • Automatically cut (slice) video footage into many clips

    I have been asked what appears to be a simple question, but I can’t determine a simple solution.

    How to “automatically” cut video footage into many clips based upon an user time interval.

    Import a clip of “any length”, then do what ever procedure necessary to “automatically create many separate clips based upon the user’s time value.”

    Example(s):
    If you import a 10 second piece of footage and want each clip to be 1 second, then 10 separate clips would be produced.
    OR
    each clip is to be x number of frames then there would be “(total running time x Frames per second) / number of frames per clip” number of clips. Last clip may be shorter due to the result not being an interval.

    Thank you in advance.
