    I wasn’t sure how to title this…

Basically, I’ve rendered out the whole project / video and found a mistake at one spot – is there a way to not have to render out the whole sequence again ?

When working in After Effects, I always rendered out as images.. so in this case, I’d just render out the images at the spot where the problem was.

But I don’t think this is possible with video, right ?

Did you render and export it out to a pro res file?
Unclear if you are talking about rendering a bunch of effects on the timeline or a full export.

If just multiple effects, you can fix just what you need and it wont disturb the others unless, you have another element that connects them all, like a lower third super or an adjustment layer and still the smart rendering works pretty well.

IF it is a whole timeline export, No. You are going to have to re-export out that file.

IF the timeline is rendered, choose to USE PREVIEW FILES when exporting and it will speed up your export.
