I have a strange problem where zoom audio sounds fine on my timeline. When I export it (in any format) it sounds fine on my computer speakers, but if I reimport that file into premiere, the sound goes faint. The same thing happens when you listen to it on a tablet or phone. Never had this happen before. Any ideas?

Your audio channels are out of phase. Try using just one of them rather than both, or put them back into phase.

I think Audition has a plugin to fix phase issues. Or, depending on what you’re doing, I usually just have dialog on the zoom so I convert it to 2 ch mono instead of stereo.

Thanks for the replies. I used the “fill right with left” effect, which I think is doing the trick.
