Aside from lets do it again can anyone offer any tips..
It seems pretty straight foward but i am not getting it. Right i have a stop frame ainmation at 15 fps which lasts for about 3 seconds. I want to play it in reverse and stretch it to 12 seconds. If i tell Timewarp to to play at 30% speed or indeeed 200% while i get time warping i cant strech out my comp like i would be able to do with time remapping , ie i have 3′ of warpped footage. I havent been able to make it play bacwards using negative values either.
Its a really cool effect and for streching 3′ stop frame to 12′ its well cool… But.. I am sure its something simple i am over looking
    Any help
    much appreciated

If I understand what you looking for, the simplest way it to place your clip in a comp (12 sec or more).
Select the clip layer and go to Layer>Time>Time-Reverse Layer (Option-Command-R).
Expand the timeline so you can see the [In Out Duration] fields and set you duration (you could skip the above step and go right to here but make sure you use a negative value).
In the frame blending check box make sure you have a solid line next to you layer (as I understand it this invokes the same fame blending algorithm as time warp.
