Hi, When I playback a clip in the capture window the speed of playback goes from normal to fast speed. I use the jkl keys to operate the playback. When I hit the l key to speed up the video playback (it says at the top of the window) it goes from playing to playing at fast speed, but the speed stays the same(at normal) unless I hit the l key three times and then it goes very fast. Is there an way to speed up playback without it going from normal to very fast. In other words are there more than two speeds for playback. In using CS5. Thanks Gary

The speed should increment with each push of j and l, it sounds like a bug of somekind if you don’t get incremental increase or decrease in speed.

Hi, one further question. Could it be related to my camera. I’m using a Canon XHA1s. Under capture devise I set it to Canon but The XhA1s is not listed so I set it to generic. Do you think this is the problem? If so any suggestions what to do? Thanks,Gary

    Hi Gary
Have you tried the control j & l for slow playback? It should also increment speed from v.slow faster with that option.
Not sure what you should do, maybe contact Adobe support?

    Hi Gary
Hadn’t taken in the captures just thinking about playback! Yes, if capturing it is almost certainly a limitation on your camera playback. JKL probably work normally on captured footage in your source monitor. Sorry for the confusion.
