Final Cut Pro X has an easy access to music via an iTunes built in button.

Is there a similar solution (plugin?) for Premiere Pro CC?

    Hi Yair,
There’s no button, per se. However, you can drag in songs from the iTunes browser right into the Premiere Pro project panel, which I think is pretty cool (and not very well known).

The only thing you have to be wary of is that songs bought from the iTunes store are not supported, but your personal .MP3s, AIFFs, music you create in GarageBand are.

    Thanks,
    Kevin

    Thanks Kevin for the info.

I’m on PC and in the meantime I’ve found a plugin for Premiere Pro here:

I wonder if there are similar or better alternatives.

You got that right. FCPX has paid for itself with just the sound effects I’ve gotten out of it. I drag things from all sorts of different programs into the Adobe apps and more times than not it works fine. Like Power Point to InDesign or Illustrator to Power Point. So much so that I’m a little surprised when it doesn’t.
