Linked AE Comp goes offline when re-edited in AE
I’ve linked a few comps from a single AE project into Premiere. Everything works well, until I ‘Edit Original’, then close AE after editing one of the comps, and return to Premiere. At that point all of the comps have gone offline. Re-linking is simple enough, or I can simply restart Premiere and open the project, then they’re all back.
Since I’m not seeing this being reported at Adobe’s forum, or here for that matter, I’m figuring it’s machine specific, but wanted to throw it out there in case I’ve missed something here in my search for the issue.

I’ve had the same problem – especially when I’m linking to more than one AE project.. So I try to and make sure and keep to one AE project. I’ve also read along the way that if you start up AE first, the dynamic link sticks a little better. It’s not perfect yet..

I’m having the same off-line AE issue. Were you able sort that problem out?

I personally haven’t had this problem since I’ve upgraded from CS6 to CC, however, I’ve also been much more picky about what exactly I send to AE. What version of PP and AE are you using? And what are you doing in AE that you’re not able to do in PP?
