    Hi Alvin,

As long as the standard QuickTime is installed on a PC, it can play ProRes files. However, I believe there’s a bug in CS5 that was fixed in later versions – it may not recognize ProRes clips with 4-channel audio, but 2-channel clips should work fine. I believe this issue was fixed on CS5.5 with a bug patch and I know CS6 works fine. I had the 4-channel audio issue when using ProRes clips from Atomos Ninja recorder.

    Thanks
