When Scrubbing in Timeline the video is stuttering in the Program Monitor Pane and on the 2nd Monitor too.

This problem was not exist in CS5.5 and older.

I have figured out that this happens only when Reference Monitor is open and only when the “Gang to Program Monitor” is enabled.

So I disabled this option and now everything fine, but the problem is that this option is not saved in Workspace/Project and furthermore it is automatically enabled when opening the Reference Monitor.

Is there a way to fix this stuttering problem? Or at least force the “Gang” option to be Off?

Have you got the video panels in monitor 1?

Stuttering persist regardless of Source/Program panels open state. also stuttering doesn’t depend on “Adobe Monitor 2” enabled state. I even tried to close all of the panels except Timeline, Program and Reference Monitor – same stuttering.
So it depends only on the Reference Monitor.

Also I have found out that this happens only when some scopes are viewed. Problem gone when setting Reference Monitor to Composite Video. So, it’s look like a solution – Set Reference Monitor to Composite Video and the main Program Panel View to some Scopes like RGB Parade – I have tried it and it works! But there’s again a a caveat – Program Panel View Mode is Not saved in Workspace/Project and Composite Video view is automatically selected after reopening the Program Monitor Pane 🙁

Also the stuttering persist when the Mercury playback engine is set to Software only.

Interesting whether you also have such an experience when using reference monitor on Windows version of Premiere 6?
