  pixelated text borders in after effects

  hi guys!
  please take a look at this:

  the left text is pixelated and ugly while the right text is fine. why is it pixelated and how can i make it smooth?
  i already tried different export options and different fonts. no luck at all. i also exported to another filetype, everytime with maximum quality, but it’s pixelated anyway.

  strangely, this animation is crisp and smooth:

  dunno why. i didn’t touch the preferences at all.

  i did another animation and stills, its pixelated every time. How can i avoid this problem?

  It looks like you’ve applied some kind of vertical blur to the text on the left. It also looks like the position may be at a half pixel which would force aliasing. It is hard to tell what is wrong without looking at the project

  im going crazy here.
  the problem has to do with the comp settings and the resolution im sure, i dont know what to do to get it sharp at a resolution of 600×420. its a simple text thats moving over a image file… after effects should be able to do that.

  what are the steps that you guys take to create something like this with a sharp result?
