Can’t See Audio Track
Posted by Deejay Jay on August 9, 2011 at 2:46 amWhen I drag a video into the sequence, there is no audio. I can hear it but i can not see it. What do i do!?

August 9, 2011 at 4:03 amWhat is likely happening is the audio from the clip is in say mono with a L and R channel separated. The 1st 3 audio tracks by default are stereo which can only accept stereo audio clips.
So the Mono clips (or 5.1 clips) get added underneath to their own Mono (or 5.1) track to match the clip type.Use the mouse to move down the tracks and you will see the audio.
To clean up the empty tracks you can right click where the track names are and select delete tracks… then tick delete and select all empty.
