  Match Frame Problems

  I can’t get match frame to work. Coming from FCP, I just used to hit a key when the appropriate bit was in the record window and the whole clip would end up in the source window.

  I am using merged DSLR footage, but I’ve tried unmerged clips and they fail as well. Any ideas?

  Also, some of my clips are synced with 4 different audio sources, and some with three. However this means rolling edits don’t work correctly. Has anyone ever encountered this workflow before and have a solution?

  Make sure the track of the clip you want to match is the topmost highlighted. Then it should work with the M key.

  I haven’t tried this but you may have to select all the clips (or group them)for Rolling Edit to work with all.

  I’ve seen this to. On a project last night it simply wouldn’t work. I found the function in the menu and it was greyed out. Went to another timeline and it worked again.

  Curious about this as well.

  What I’ve noticed so far is that when I’ve opened an XML file from FCP in Premiere, it opens great but I can’t seem to match frame back to my original files.

  When I import a file, and make a new timeline, it works pretty good.
