  • How can I export a MPEG4 file

I am trying to export my project as an MPEG 4 file. When I choose to export as MPEG 4 the only preset I have the option of choosing is 3GPP and the final outcome is a 3GPP file. Is there a way for my final file to be a mpeg 4?

I always thought that H.264 and MPEG-4 were “the same thing”. Just opened up Adobe Media Encoder and sure enough, there are options for both MPEG-4 (3GPP) and H.264 (lots of choices).

I’d say just go with H.264 and pick a preset, customize if you need to.
