I encoded .avi files to mp4, but sometimes it will not completely encode the files. Say I have a 10 minute file, it will encode only 2 minutes of it and says encoding finish. I’ve tried Adobe Media Encoder CS4 and CS5 but both produce same results. What’s the matter with this program? I use AVS Video Converter instead and it encodes files completely.

Could you have the work area bar over just part of your timeline?

that cannot be because after i add the file to queue, i don’t even go into settings to adjust anything. In CS5, I mouse over the filename from the queue, some files do not show the full lenght of the video, it gets shorten for some reason.

Did you ever find an answer for this? My video is 30 mins and AME is only encoding the first 29 seconds.
