  Can I import a Premiere CS3 Project into Premier CS5?

  The subject says it all… Can I import a Premiere CS3 Project into Premier CS5?

  It turns out because I was in a trial version, Premier could not update. The full license took care of that little issue.

  You can open the CS3 project file in CS5, and it will create a copy and save it in the new CS5 format. It won’t touch your original CS3 copy. From there, you can make changes in CS5.
