    hi there
im trying to use the new timewarp in afx 7 pro. im used to kronos in shake, which this is based on i believe?

i cant work out how to get it to alter the duration of a clip, however. i can make the clip go slower, but i end up with a clip where the first few frames are stretched out to take up the original duration.

i want a clip that is, say, 30 frames, to become 90 frames at 33% speed

    make sense?
    cheers

Use time stretch instead of timewarp.

This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”

    well.

time stretch doesn’t do motion analysis and uses inferior frame blending. i wouldn’t need to use after fx at all for this if frame blending was sufficient.

of course, you already knew this because you have read the “freakin manual”

Use timestretch and set the frame blending mode to “pixel motion” and it uses the frame interpolation to create intermediate frames. Not frame blending.

    Good luck
